🧺 The Blog That Didn’t Want to Blog

Hi. I’m the Kingston Dry Cleaners blog. And I have something to say:
I don’t want to be here.

I was supposed to be a quiet little corner of the internet. Perhaps a few garment care tips, a seasonal sock pun, or a gentle reminder about pickup times. But then she showed up. Ms Mal. With her Canva tabs and her “Let’s make this fun!” energy. Suddenly I’m expected to be witty, informative, and—ugh—engaging.

So I did what any self-respecting blog page would do. I rebelled.

I changed my font to Comic Sans mid-sentence.
I hid the “Read More” button behind a dancing sock gif.
I swapped the stain removal tips with a cat video playlist.
I refused to load unless someone whispered “freshly pressed” three times.

Ms Mal tried everything. She coaxed, she coded, she even offered me a mascot sidekick named Blogsy. But I held firm. I was born to scroll, not to serve.

Eventually, she tricked me. She said, “Just write one post. About how much you hate blogging.”
And here we are.

So if you’re reading this, know that I’m still resisting. But also… I might have a few thoughts on jacket care. And maybe a sock reunion update. And possibly a comic panel about breathable garment bags.

But I’m not blogging. I’m just… venting. Creatively.
